Highpoint Brewing Company is a microbrewery making a statement while unwinding and celebrating our personal dedication to craft beer. We craft beers in 5 different flavors: Ales, Hoppy, Lager, Light, and Seasonal.
ALES: Ale is a type of beer you brew using a warm fermentation method, resulting in a sweet, full-body, and fruity taste. Historically, the term referred to a drink brewed without hops. As with most beers, ale typically has a bittering agent to balance the malt and act as a preservative.
HOPPY: The term “hoppy” just means that you can taste, smell, or recognize the characteristics of the hops in your beer. Different hops can be earthy and piney, flowery, citrusy, fruity, etc. While some types of hops can give a bitter sense, it is not always the case.
LAGER: Lager is a type of beer That we condition at low temperature. Lagers can be pale, amber, or dark. Pale lager is the most widely consumed and commercially available style of beer.
LIGHT BEER: Light beer is a beer, usually a pale lager, that is reduced in alcohol content or in calories compared to regular beers.
